CCTNS and associates has developed a method called Application Remodeling that is an alternate approach to re-engineering projects. While some clients’ needs are served with a re-engineering solution, others may be better suited for this alternative or cloud based solutions.

Application Remodeling uses the business rules and the stability of the legacy software system and implements a web-based or GUI front end for the client. Compared with the re-engineering approach, this alternative is cost-effective, generally requires less implementation time and can add years of service to your applications.

A system is a good candidate for remodeling if its performance meets the needs of the business but the system is limited in interoperability. Remodeling enables clients to recapture much of the investment already made in the current system.
